Bruce Jenner Docu-Series ‘On Hold Indefinitely’ Following Fatal Car Crash

Bruce Jenner’s docu-series has reportedly been put on hold “indefinitely” since he was involved in a fatal car accident. According to Radar Online, the former Olympian is not filming for his new show, which is going to follow him as he takes steps to transition into a woman, since getting into a car accident that claimed the life of another driver.

“There is no timetable for when Bruce will resume filming the docu-series. Obviously, it’s not the priority right now, given the severity of the situation that Bruce is facing. From a public relations standpoint, it would also be in very poor taste to be filming a reality show after Bruce was involved in the crash. At this point, no one from the production company is pressuring Bruce to film. Everyone understands what is going on with him,” said a source.

Bruce Jenner has reportedly decided to put his sex change operation on hold in light of the crash. There is still an investigation pending, and it’s unknown if Jenner will face charges of any kind, so he’s waiting for things to get sorted out before he moves on with his life.

According to the Mirror, video from the crash surfaced days ago, and seems to prove that Bruce was at fault. If police determine this to be the case, Jenner could be looking at a manslaughter charge.

Naturally, this accident is taking precedence in Jenner’s life, and sources say that he’s completely torn up about it. The accident came just days after Bruce’s docu-series and television interview were announced to the public. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Bruce had inked a deal with Diane Sawyer that would allow him to tell the world about what he’s been going through over the past several years.

“The decision wasn’t made overnight, but has been done thoughtfully over the past year. After having his Adam’s apple removed, and beginning to take hormones, Bruce knew what he wanted to do. He has been in counseling as required by the surgeon, and his doctor believes Bruce is psychologically prepared to become a woman. Bruce has already been living as a woman behind closed doors at his Malibu house. Bruce is ready to legally change his name too. He’ll change his entire identity, and will be recognized as a woman,” shared a source.

While things seemed to finally be falling into place for the reality star, sources say that the car accident has really set him back.
