Groom Reads Vows Stepdaughter: NASCAR’s Brian Scott Reads Emotional Vows To New Wife’s Daughter At Wedding [Video]

A groom read vows to his stepdaughter to be at a wedding in what is shaping up to be one of the best viral videos ever. According to PopSugar, NASCAR driver Brian Scott realized that he wasn’t just marrying his love, Whitney Kay, but also her daughter, Brielle, 3. For this reason, Scott thought it was important to make sure that he made promises to Brielle as well. And he brought everyone to tears in doing so.

“I promise to always hold your hand and skip with you down the street and bring comfort to your life. I vow to make you say your prayers before you eat. I promise to read you stories at night, to always tuck you in real tight. I vow to show you how a man should treat a woman in my relationship with your mother. And above all else, I vow to protect you, care for you, and love you forever.”

As the groom read vows to his stepdaughter, she looked around, clearly not really understanding the magnitude of the moment. However, said moment was caught on film, and someday Brielle will understand just how much that moment meant.

According to WGNO, the video went viral over the past 24 hours. It now has over 1.3 million views. Brian and Whitney have been married for a little over a year. They welcomed their first child together, giving Brielle a baby brother, in November.
