‘Destiny’: Xur’s Location And Exotic Goods For Weekend Of February 20, Heavy Ammo On Sale
Another weekend of Xûr, Agent of the Nine, has arrived in the Destiny tower. What should PlayStation and Xbox players expect? The return of No Land Beyond plus some nice stat rolls on a Warlock chest piece and a Hunter helmet. The main draw may be the Exotic Engram and Heavy Ammo Synthesis though.
Xûr can be found next to the Crucible Quartermaster in the Tower this weekend. Simply head straight towards the Vanguard hall after spawning in the tower and look against the wall on the left just before you run into the Quartermaster. Here’s where you can find him on the Tower map.
Xûr and his items will only be available through the morning of Sunday, February 22. As soon as the clock strikes 5 a.m. ET / 2 a.m. PT, he will be gone.
Another “meh” week of Xûr is saved by the inclusion of an Exotic Chest Engram and a Heavy Weapon Ammo Synthesis pack. No Land Beyond on sale is a letdown after Icebreaker last week, except for those looking for a novelty item. Meanwhile, the stats on all the Exotic armor for sale are the disappointing side outside of Voidfang Vestments. The armor upgrade for Achylogphage Symbiote is impressive though as it maxes out at 128 Discipline.
Here is what is available for sale and upgrade from Xûr this weekend. Thanks again to DestinyDB for the Exotic information below.

For those wondering what to get, here are a few helpful hints.
No Land Beyond is one of the extremely rare special Exotic weapons that can fit in the primary weapon slot. It is, in fact, the only Sniper Rifle that can be used as a primary weapon. However, its performance may leave you preferring to use a Scout Rifle with a high impact rating instead. The precision damage multiplier on NLB is only 3.5x versus the 5.0x of other Sniper Rifles. It also requires a reload after each shot that takes approximately two and a half seconds. If you’re a headshot master in PVP, NLB may be worth your coins.
The Crest of Alpha Lupi chest armor is for Titans focused on team play. Two perks grant more Auto Rifle and Special Weapon ammo, but the Keeper of the Pack perk allows you to revive fallen teammates very quickly, and you are revived faster in return. More importantly, more orbs are generated with your Super.
The 133 Intellect stat roll is reason enough to avoid spending the Strange Coins on this armor unless you absolutely need an Exotic chest piece. The upgrade this week to 141 Intellect is not much better.
Radiant Dance Machines are a pair of groovy looking Hunter boots and the only Exotic pair currently available. They can be worn by either sub-classes and allow Hunters to move quicker while aiming thanks to “The Dance” perk. This is most useful in PVP, where strafing and quick movements can mean the difference between killing or being killed. The stat roll of 147 strength is actually pretty good though.
These boots come with 128 Strength stat roll this week, which is average.
Voidfang Vestments is an Exotic Warlock chest piece that comes with a perk for the Voidwalker sub-class. The Improved Axion Bolt perk will spawn an additional seeker for Axion Bolt grenades. You also respawn with full grenade energy and it comes with a Hand Cannon Ammo and Special Weapon Ammo perk to allow you to carry additional ammo for both.
Long-time Destiny players probably already have these. That said, the 155 Strength stat roll is above average and reasonably close to the 170 max.
