‘Bachelorette’ 2015: Andi Dorfman Won’t Be Making A Comeback, So Who Will Be The Next Contestant?

The Bachelorette won’t be featuring a comeback from Andi Dorfman in 2015, but beyond that, it’s up in the air as to who will be handing out roses on the ABC reality show.

There had been rumors that Dorfman was in talks to return to the series following her difficult breakup with Josh Murray, but now sources close to the show say there is “no chance” she would ever do it again.

“Andi would never go through that process again in a million years,” the source told E! News.

With Andi Dorfman out of the running, the speculation as to who will be the Bachelorette in 2015 is growing steadily. Some believe that Jade Roper, who was just eliminated by Chris Soules, would make a good pick. Jade stirred some controversy when she revealed that she had appeared in Playboy, which Hollywood Life thought could actually play into her favor.

“What more does ABC want from a Bachelorette? Sure, she’s got a past: she posed for Playboy years ago. But who doesn’t have a past? I’m not saying that everyone poses nude, but let’s think about it: some of the biggest celebrities in Hollywood have done Playboy or Maxim or some sort of naked spread. From Madonna and Farrah Fawcett to Drew Barrymore and Cindy Crawford.”

E! News also has a short list, which happens to include Jade as well.

“Sources tell us that there are four frontrunners: Britt, Kaitlyn, Becca and Jade. Yep, you read that right. Jade is still being considered even though she posed for Playboy. ‘It’s a long shot not doubt but it would be a great story,’ says one insider. Becca also is a long shot, considering that this would be the first virgin Bachelorette, and the idea of guys competing to take her virginity feels a little skeezy. Whitney is considered ‘just too nice’ (read: boring?) per insiders. We are told that Jade was considered ‘too nice’ at first, too, but she grew on everyone. [emphasis theirs]”

Britt Nilsson has another big backer in her corner. Reality Steve, the blogger with the inside information who has correctly predicted all but one winner, said be believes Britt will be the Bachelorette in 2015.

It’s still unclear just when ABC could pick the Bachelorette for 2015. As of now, the show has not released an official schedule of when shooting would begin or a new season would air.
