‘Vanderpump Rules’ Drama: Katie Maloney & Tom Schwartz Talk Miami Girl, Season Three

Vanderpump Rules drama was the topic of a new interview featuring cast members Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz.

In the February 18 interview with Wetpaint Entertainment, the couple opened up about the Vanderpump Rules drama seen on season three, starting with the shocking arrival of Annemarie Kunkel, a woman who claimed to have slept with Tom Sandoval last year in Miami.

“I was in shock, honestly, because we had just got back from Miami and everyone was getting along with Kristen, and I’m like, ‘Wow, maybe we’re all on to a better path of being friends,’ and then she comes in and is sitting front row, watching this happen,” Maloney recalled.

Her boyfriend, Schwartz, wondered what motive Kunkel had for traveling to Los Angeles to speak with Sandoval and his girlfriend, Ariana Madix.

“If it did happen, which it didn’t, what would motivate her to come across the country and do this confrontation?”

Throughout the first half of the season, the Vanderpump Rules drama surrounded Sandoval and his alleged affair with Kunkel. However, all the while, he maintained his innocence, and Madix, who claimed to have been in contact with Sandoval for the majority of the night in question, believed he had done nothing wrong.

Also on season three, cast members saw the exit of Kristen Doute from SUR Lounge. After seven years of employment at the restaurant, Lisa Vanderpump fired Doute for telling her manager, Diana, to “f**k off.”

“It was time. Before the show even began, just in general, she pulled a lot of stuff,” Maloney revealed. “She had a hard time with management all the time. So, I think they’re happy they don’t have to deal with that anymore.”

“Lisa gave her so many chances,” Schwartz added.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Maloney and Schwartz were also faced with a cheating scandal during season three. Luckily, they got through it together and ended up stronger than ever. In fact, according to a new interview, they could get engaged at any moment.

Speaking to Hollywood Life earlier this month, Maloney expressed her interest in getting married, and Maloney claimed an engagement was “coming.”

“You’ll see. It’s coming up. I’m going to make it happen.”

As for whether or not it would be seen on the show, Maloney said it likely would be filmed.

“You would definitely see it. We can’t have a moment like that and not see it on Vanderpump Rules, right?”
