Kanye West Talks ‘Mom’ Kris Jenner, ‘Body Of All Bodies’ Kim Kardashian, And Becoming Steve Jobs [Video]

Kanye West and Kris Jenner may be the real powers behind what has become the West-Kardashian-Jenner family dynasty. And in Kanye’s views, the potential for how he can expand that kingdom, from fashion to fame, has no boundaries, he told Style.

Most recently, Kanye has challenged mainstream designers by teaming up with Adidas. He praises the company for giving him the freedom he needed to provide others with what he considers the good life.

“I have a real purpose to what I want to present. Adidas is the perfect place to be. If someone was to say, ‘Hey, do you want to go to a high-end house now?’ I’d absolutely say no. I’m not trying to [sound] presumptuous, I’m just saying that if in my wildest dreams I was presented with the opportunity, I would absolutely say no at this point. Because I’m only concerned with making beautiful products available to as many people as possible … The least I could do is spend my time trying to give other people a piece of the so-called good life. Everyone should have the good life.”

As for West himself and his relationship with Kim Kardashian, he views her not only as his muse, but as the muse for all designers around the world.

“She was always my muse, now she’s become other designers’ muses. Or designers’ muses, because like I said, I don’t want to disrespect designers by calling myself a designer,” clarified Kanye, “I just think I have a vision of something that I want to do.”

Kanye also makes it clear that he’s become integrated with the Kardashian-Jenner family.

“Every day I was in my mom [Kris Jenner]’s house, in my little brother’s old room, Rob’s old room, re-tailoring a Céline skirt, re-tailoring a Saint Laurent jacket, re-tailoring a Zara top, re-tailoring Wolford … And day by day by day, [Kim and I] learned, we got better. We looked at the photographs together and she improved my style, we improved each other.”

Kim has frequently complained about her body, citing her need to lose weight. But West completely disagrees.

“With the body of all bodies, right?” he says of making attire for his wife.

However, Kim is determined to restore her pre-baby body with a new weight loss plan, as the Inquisitr reported. She’s been using a concept called waist-training together with a low-carb diet and working out regularly with a personal trainer.

So what does the future hold for Kanye West? He’s keeping his dreams relatively modest, according to Rolling Stone.

“One of my dreams was to be the head creative director of The Gap. I’d like to be the Steve Jobs of The Gap.”
