Watch 92-Year-Old Slam Into 9 Cars Causing Mayhem In Mayville Piggly Wiggly Parking Lot [Video]

A 92-year-old man in Wisconsin backed out of his parking space in the Piggly Wiggly grocery store parking lot, and managed to crash into 9 other vehicles as he was leaving. Mayhem visited the town of Mayville when the elderly man was caught on surveillance cameras slamming into every car that was in close proximity to his, as reported by ABC 7 News.

As Russell Kerr attempted to back out of his parking space, it was almost like a comedy of errors, although he told Mayville Police that “his foot got stuck on the accelerator. He then panicked and lost control of his vehicle,” according to My Fox Twin Cities.

Mayville Police Chief Christopher MacNeill told ABC 7 News, “My first thought was, ‘You only see these situations when someone is trying to elude police or in incidents of road rage.'”

Authorities report that 92-year-old Kerr will not face any charges, nor will he be ticketed for the damage he incurred on the slew of cars in his path of destruction. The police also report that they do not have the authority to revoke his driver’s license.

However, they will be reviewing Kerr’s driving record. It is also likely that the Wisconsin DMV will require Kerr to take a driver’s test, although it may be difficult to find an instructor who will be willing to give it to him.
