Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Ex Zach Jafarzadeh Talks Nick Gordon, Claims She Was ‘High On Xanax’ When Found In Bathtub [Report]

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s ordeal still remains a mystery. There aren’t any definitive details about her current state, and the Roswell Police Department is still investigating possible events that may have taken place prior to her being found face-down in the bathtub inside her Roswell townhome. So many rumors have been circulating about her alleged drug and alcohol abuse, along with her violent history with Nick Gordon.

Now, her ex-boyfriend, Zach Jafarzadeh, is speaking out about the mysterious bathtub incident. Despite Bobby Brown’s request for sources to cease from interviewing, he’s given his take on Bobbi Kristina’s condition. According to the Daily Mail, he claims she was likely “high on Xanax” the morning of Saturday, Jan. 31. Zach, who dated Bobbi Kristina in high school, was reportedly still one of her closest friends. He revealed he’d spoken to her days before the shocking incident and she was depressed about the three-year anniversary of her mother Whitney Houston’s death. The fight she’d had with Nick days prior also made things worse.

So, was it a drowning? Or did she try to commit suicide? Although he couldn’t give a definitive answer to those questions, he admitted he can’t rule out the possibility of an attempted suicide because of her continuous bouts with depression. He made it clear that he doesn’t know exactly what happened that morning, but he insists whatever occurred was probably the result of a Xanax overdose. The medications were reportedly prescribed but she allegedly had a habit of not taking the pills as instructed.

Here’s what he had to say.

“I know they got into a fight a few days before and she was really depressed about that and probably took a few Xanax and bathed and fell asleep. She would take more than she was prescribed of the Xanax. If you take two or three of them, you will black out and not remember anything. No matter who you are, it’s going to knock you out, and mixed with alcohol it’s a deadly combo. Some of it makes me feel like it could be a possible suicide, not even just a mistake. Something symbolic like: ‘This is the way my mom died, this is the way I want to kill myself too.’ It’s eerie how similar that is. It sent chills down my spine and it made me sick to my stomach when I heard about it.”

Back in 2011, pictures of Bobbi Kristina snorting cocaine surfaced online, but Zach claims she no longer used that particular drug. Ironically, Zach was accused of leaking the incriminating photos, but the speculation was never confirmed, reports Huffington Post. But, surprisingly, he’s revealed she did more drugs when her mother was alive and made an attempt to stop using drugs in wake of her mother’s death. Although several reports have revealed drugs were found in the home, it is still unclear whether drugs belonged to Bobbi Kristina or Nick.

“She smoked cigarettes but she didn’t like to smoke marijuana. She didn’t like the way it made her feel. Cocaine was a very small phase of her life, she didn’t do it often. The main things she would do were drinking, Xanax, and cigarettes.”

Zach also shared his opinion of Nick Gordon. Despite the reports about the couple’s violent history and the mounting allegations against him, Zach argues that Nick is not capable of murder.

“‘Everybody’s trying to make it all ‘Nick Gordon beat her up’ but I don’t believe that. I don’t believe he beat her up and threw her in the bathtub. That’s kind of stupid, why would you put her in a bath if her mom just died in a bathtub.”

Bobbi Kristina Brown remains on life support and the criminal investigation is ongoing.
