Andy Cohen Talks ‘RHONJ’ Returning: ‘It’s A Big Franchise For Bravo’

Andy Cohen put plenty of emphasis on Teresa Giudice during the last reunion special for The Real Housewives of New Jersey, as Giudice knew that she would be going to jail for 15 months. Teresa had been filming the show since the beginning, and her criminal struggles had been the focus on the show. But Giudice leaving the show was a huge loss for Bravo. Even Andy showed some tears.

Of course, Andy Cohen is emotionally invested in the Giudice family, as he has known them since they joined the show. Many people have been questioning what will happen with the show. Bravo has been rumored to be scouting for new housewives, and now, Andy has broken his silence about the show’s future.

According to a new Bravo report, Andy Cohen is now revealing that the show will most likely go on without Teresa, since it has been a huge success. Many people turned in to see how the wives would cope with Giudice’s sentencing, and Bravo brought back Kathy Wakile and Jacqueline Laurita for the moment when the sentence was made public. It is possible that Andy Cohen will have an influence in who will be on the show.

“I can’t imagine not filming The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Andy Cohen has revealed, adding, “It’s a big franchise for Bravo, and I think whatever we do, we’re going to do it the right way, so we’re still figuring that out right now.”

Cohen revealed that anything is really possible. Maybe Bravo is looking at bringing back some of the older New Jersey housewives to get fans to tune in. It is questionable whether people would actually tune in if Bravo replaced all of the current housewives with new ones. People are invested in Teresa Giudice’s story, her family and her prison time.

It appears that she is doing well in jail. Andy Cohen hasn’t said whether he has visited her yet, but her lawyer, James J. Leonard, has revealed that Teresa is doing well, despite missing her children.

“She tells me that everybody is nice and everybody is treating her respectfully. She said both the staff and the inmates are being nice to her and that she is getting along fine,” her lawyer has revealed.

According to the Inquisitr, Amber Marchese has revealed that she thinks The Real Housewives of New Jersey should go on without Teresa, as her role on the show is counterproductive. Bravo has been accused of glorifying a criminal, which is something Andy Cohen hasn’t commented on.
