Xbox Ultimate Sale Brings ‘Destiny,’ ‘State Of Decay,’ ‘Borderlands’ Deals And More
Microsoft kicked off an Xbox Ultimate Sale for both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 on Tuesday. The digital only sale runs for a week and discounts a number of titles both new and old such as Destiny, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, State of Decay, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, and more.
The sale runs through Monday, February 23 with some games like Halo: The Master Chief Collection rumored to be part of a limited time offer this weekend. Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers naturally get the bigger discount, up to 85 percent, over Silver members.
It’s worth noting that not all of these deals in the Xbox Ultimate Sale are the ultimate discount that you can get. For example, the physical version of Destiny is available at Amazon for $29.99, $10 cheaper available through the Xbox Store.
On the other hand, those interested in State of Decay for the Xbox One can use the sale to get both the Xbox 360 game and the Year One Survival Edition for essentially the price of the Xbox One version of the game. State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition is $20, but will be available for $13.40 (33 percent discount) for those that own the Xbox 360 version. The $5 price of State of Decay during the sale means that both versions would be $18.40 together.
