Man tells City Meeting: Stephen King killed John Lennon

The City of Sarasota, Florida opens the floor during its meetings to contributions from the public. It’s a great form of direct democracy, but naturally it can be abused.

Imagine their surprise then when at Wednesday nights meeting, a told them that Stephen King killed John Lennon!

The unnamed man displayed a range of signs, including one with the address of his website Lennon Murder Truth. On the website itself, the man claims Stephen King killed Lennon, and was swapped with Mark Chapman, who happened to look similar to King at the time.
