New Mass Effect 3 footage shows Mars, Liara [Video]

In the latest episode of GameTrailers TV, BioWare showed off some all-new story sequences from Mass Effect 3, including some footage of one of the new, more familiar planets players will be doing battle on: Mars.

In the video, GTTV’s Geoff Keighley chats with Mac Walters about the scope of the game’s narrative, with plenty of bits of new footage, including new enemies, new (and old) friends, and a look at several story sequences.

“This is the end of–not just a game, a trilogy–it’s also an era. Shepard’s story is ending,” Walters said. ” So we knew that we wanted to pull out all the stops in this and have all the biggest decisions, the biggest consequences, biggest battles. The galaxy itself is on the line here.”

Mass Effect 3 is set to be unleashed in North America on March 6, Australia on March 8, and Europe on March 9. Fans will also have the opportunity to try out the game early when the Mass Effect 3 demo releases February 13.
