‘Pump Rules’ Star James Kennedy Punched By Kristen Doute At Scheana Marie’s Wedding
Next week’s Pump Rules includes a dramatic moment featuring Kristen Doute and James Kennedy.
During the continuation of Scheana Marie’s wedding episode, which was seen in a new sneak peek, Doute gets upset with Kennedy and leaves the reception with a male friend. When Kennedy follows her, she becomes even more enraged, and tells him to get away from her as she hits him in the face.
Prior to the recent Pump Rules clip being posted online, Marie hinted at a fight between her co-stars during an interview with Hollywood Life.
“[Every] single person had their own issues that night. I had my own issues. Meanwhile, there’s this person fighting with this person. And this person fighting with that person. This person gets punched in the face… twice.”
Doute and Marie’s friendship was strained before she punched Kennedy, so it’s no surprise the two are no longer friends.
When the two went to Miami for Marie and Mike Shay’s bachelor/bachelorette celebration, Doute was seen harassing Ariana Madix, Scheana’s best friend, on more than one occasion. While Marie didn’t know it at the time, she quickly was informed of Doute’s rude behavior and considered banning her from the wedding.
On Pump Rules, Marie told cameras she opted to include Doute because the pair had such a long history, and because she was confident that Doute wouldn’t act out or ruin her big day.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Doute recently addressed her behavior during Marie and Shay’s reunion.
“I apologized to James at the reunion…you could tell I still had feelings and it wasn’t that I wanted to be with Tom but I wasn’t over the break up and I wasn’t over him being with Ariana,” she explained.
She also revealed who her mystery man was.
“His name is Trevor and he is my Muay Thai trainer and friend. I had to walk off because James was getting drunk and I needed a break.”
While Kennedy was getting in the face of Trevor, he remained calm, choosing to instead let Doute do the talking.
Doute and Kennedy began dating at the end of season two, following her split from Tom Sandoval. During the season two reunion show, Doute first announced the relationship, as Sandoval went public with fellow SUR employee, Ariana Madix.
