Tyga’s relationship with Kylie Jenner gets a shout-out in Drake’s new song, “6PM in New York.” Unsurprisingly, Drizzy is not impressed that his rap rival is hooking up with the 17-year-old reality star.
According to Gossip Cop, Drake seems to mock Tyga’s rumored romance with Kylie Jenner in the “6PM in New York” lyrics below. However, he doesn’t mention Tyga or Kylie by name.
“I heard a lil homie talking reckless in VIBE / Quite a platform you chose, you shoulda kept it inside / Oh you tried, it’s so childish calling my name on the world stage / You need to act your age and not your girl’s age.”
Drake refused to speak Tyga’s name, but he makes it obvious that he’s talking about the “Rack City” rapper by mentioning VIBE. During an October 2014 interview with the magazine, Tyga dissed Drake by calling him fake.
“I don’t like Drake as a person. He’s just fake to me,” he said.
During the same interview, Tyga also tried to claim that he and Kylie Jenner are not dating. However, the two have spent so much time together that there are persistent rumors that Kylie is pregnant with Tyga’s child.
Tyga responded to Drake’s lyrics about his relationship with Kylie Jenner in a tweet that has since been deleted. In it, he seemingly referenced the Chris Brown/Rihanna/Drake love triangle.
“@Drake u still a b*tch,” he wrote. “All that sneak dissing is weak. Just pull up. I know where u live and u know my address… U been ducking the fade from Brown.”
Tyga just happens to be good friends with Chris Brown, who was once linked to Kylie Jenner’s older sister, Kendall. Kylie has hung out with Tyga quite a bit, but she isn’t the only woman who has been dragged into the Drake/Tyga feud — Drizzy has also used Tyga’s ex-girlfriend to get a rise out of the rapper.
Last October, Drake responded to Tyga’s “fake” comment by liking a few of Blac Chyna’s sexy Instagram photos. According to VIBE, Chyna responded by tweeting that she was still on #teamtyga. However, she quickly changed her tune after Kylie Jenner shared the photo below that shows her celebrating Halloween with Tyga.
In response to the photo, Blac Chyna liked one of Drake’s Instagram posts. Tyga responded to her move with a tweet that read, “That ain’t my h*e.” However, it’s unclear whether he was referencing Kylie Jenner. Drake evidently thought he was because he fired back by sharing the photo of Kylie below.
The social media feud continued with Blac Chyna tagging Drake in a few sexy Instagram photos accompanied by lyrics from his songs, and things got really ugly when Blac Chyna claimed that Tyga had hacked her Twitter account. In a series of tweets, the rapper accused his ex of being a cheater and a gold digger.
The Tyga/Drake feud seemingly died down for a few weeks, but it looks like it’s going in full force again. What do you think of Drake’s lyrics about Tyga and Kylie Jenner?
