‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Which Character Is About To Die?

The Young and the Restless fans are bracing themselves for some wild episodes this month. There have been teases for a while now about a character death, and it’s all coming together now. The groundwork was definitely laid during Friday’s show, and fans are anxious for Young and Restless spoilers about what is coming next.

During Friday’s show, Neil Winters made a big revelation: he can indeed see now. She Knows Soaps shares that the group takes off in the plane for the trip and Neil seemingly can’t take Devon and Hilary’s sneaking around any longer. Right at the end of Friday’s show, Neil walks to the bar area on the plane and pours a whiskey. Lily yells out that it’s alcohol to warn him, and that’s when the big moment happens.

After months of lead-up, Neil describes the whiskey and then tells everybody on the plane that he can see. Not only can he see, he can see everything, and the emphasis is pretty clear. Devon, Hilary, Lily, Cane, Jill, and Colin are all on the plane with Neil and there’s nowhere left to hide. Just how ugly will things get before the plane goes down? Fans will have to stay tuned to find out.

Previews have been teasing that the plane will crash, and Lily’s life seems to be in jeopardy. Some thought that Neil would reveal his eyesight had returned as he looked for Lily, but the moment in Friday’s show was definitely worth the wait.

Friday’s episode clearly laid the groundwork for what lies ahead, in that many Genoa City residents will find their lives in danger as the strength of the storm hits. Dishes rattled as Stitch and Victoria left the restaurant, and the lights flickered at Sharon’s house. The show has been teasing that someone will die and that’s going to happen during the week of February 16. Just who will it be?

According to Daytime Confidential, the Young and Restless character death is one of nine male characters. Fans have their theories, and the site’s tease does narrow down the possibilities. Granted, fans would say that probably half of the people featured can be crossed off the list. It would be a big shock if Dylan, Neil, Nick, or Victor were killed this coming week.

What about the others? Many fans have been guessing the death would be either Austin or Joe though a good number of fans seem to be worried that it could be Fenmore. Though sadly plenty of Y&R fans would shed no tears if Steve Burton left the role of Dylan, nobody really expects to see that happen.

Many Young and Restless fans suspect that Austin will die, paving the way for Summer to get close to Kyle when a new actor takes over the role later this month. Seeing Joe die would certainly work with what’s going on right now, though some think there’s more to come from him.

Though there is worry about Fen, others see a lot of story ahead for that character and think he’ll be safe for now. Kevin does seem rather expendable at the moment in some ways, though with his brother Michael’s cancer story, fans suspect that Kevin will be sticking around at least for now. From the looks of things, the plane crash and the catastrophes around town will have lasting consequences in addition to the teased death.
