‘The Sims 4’ Exciting Expansion Takes Game Play To The Next Level [Video, Photos]

The Sims 4 is the latest simulation game sensation by Electronic Arts, a giant in the gaming industry. While The Sims 1, 2, and 3 improved several areas with each new version, The Sims 4 has received mixed reviews.

Electronic Arts seems to be working diligently to allay any fears that The Sims 4 is somehow subpar, as evidenced in a related report by Inquisitr. The company has been under fire for originally releasing the base game with omissions of favorite items like pools and ghosts. However, these have subsequently been added, due to popular demand.

A new expansion for The Sims 4 will take one aspect of the game to never-before-seen proportions. The Sims 4: Get to Work allows the player to not only follow their Sims to job sites, but also makes them fully playable during work hours. The Sims 3 rolled out a similar concept in the Ambitions add on, but this trailer promises more options and interaction.

Different career paths will be available to those Sims in the community who long to be doctors, detectives, or lawyers. Those with a more entrepreneurial bent can take up baking or painting, open up their own clothing store or art gallery, and much more. Two new skills have been offered in The Sims 4 as well: baking and photography.

The Sims have a history of including interesting characters into the games, such as werewolves and vampires. According to PC Gamer, The Sims 4 continues this tradition. The new expansion will feature aliens and, if this EA hint is any indication, they may not be as conspicuous as one might think.

“Aliens have landed! Uncover which Sims are truly out of this world and discover the mysterious Alien dimension.”

The Sims 4: Get to Work features exciting new content, such as the doctor’s ability to deliver babies, a detective’s delight in questioning suspects, and new inventions for the mad (or even sane) scientist.
