‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Beauty Tips: How To Look Like You’ve Just Been Bitten By Christian Grey

The wildly popular Fifty Shades of Grey movie surprisingly offers beauty tips. In addition to launching a thousand fantasies and bedroom ideas for women, you can also look like you’ve just been bitten by Christian Grey himself. The head of the makeup department for Fifty Shades of Grey shared her beauty tips, which included two new collections from Makeup Forever.

Victoria Down, makeup department head for Fifty Shades of Grey, worked with the beauty brand to get Anastasia Steele’s just-bitten look and special glow from the film. She used the Makeup Forever products to give the character that sexy look she needed. Down recently shared her beauty tips with Us Weekly, so fans can copy the look.

“Ana’s lip look was the makeup focus of the entire movie. Focusing on the lips helped to create the sultry intrigue and establish her character as the one who drove Christian Grey crazy.”

To get that just-bitten look, the appropriately titled Tease Me Sets ($32, Sephora.com) come in nude or berry. This beauty kit also includes a smudge-proof liner, a long-wearing lip gloss, and shimmering gloss. One of Down’s tips includes using the shimmering gloss if you want to create the glow effect on your lips.

“To create Ana’s healthy glow, I used a darker pink blush, which I blended out across the apples of the cheeks, on the nose, and a little on the chin and hairline. It gave the appearance of a healthy flush from under the skin and not like an applied blush.”

To create this glow effect, use the Desire Me set ($49, Sephora.com). This beauty kit includes the Artist Shadow Cheek Trio Blush Palette and a travel-sized version of the Artisan Powder Brush 150, according to Us Weekly.

Just-bitten lips isn’t a trend that’s seen in Fifty Shades of Grey. It’s also one of the biggest beauty trends seen at New York Fashion Week, according to Elle magazine. The magazine also offered beauty tips on how to perfect this look.

You should remove the lip balm you wore during the day. Paint your lips with a dark berry-brown or cranberry shade to look as if you’ve just bitten your lip.
