‘RHONY’ Star LuAnn De Lesseps On Business: ‘I Want To Expand’
The Real Housewives of New York star LuAnn De Lesseps has been working on her own clothing line for quite some time, and many fans have adored her fashion sense. On previous seasons, LuAnn was often wearing wrap around dresses with accessories, and fans loved her looks. This created a need for her own clothing line, something she has been working on for quite some time.
LuAnn De Lesseps is now revealing that she has been working on her clothing line for some time, even though she has been out of the spotlight. LuAnn has been filming the newest season of The Real Housewives of New York alongside Bethenny Frankel, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer and some of the returning faces from Season 6.
According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of New York star LuAnn De Lesseps is now revealing that she has big plans to expand her clothing line, which continues to be inspired by what she wears all day – every day. The new collection will launch in just a few days, and will be focused on cruising.
“It’s really inspired by what I like to wear everyday,” The Real Housewives of New York star LuAnn De Lesseps has revealed about her clothing line, adding, “The things I love to wear and would take on vacation, things that can go from day to night that travel really well.”
It sounds like LuAnn De Lesseps wants to create some flexible clothing items that can only work well together with items you already have in your closet.
“I love to wear classic things and accessorize with things that will never go out of style,” De Lesseps has said, adding, “Things that are easy to wear and are easy to accessorize, that you can wear during the day with a chunky necklace—it’s transitional and it works well with existing pieces in your wardrobe.”
But De Lesseps doesn’t want to design something just to have it in her collection. She puts her stamp of approval on everything.
“I wouldn’t want to make anything for women that I wouldn’t wear myself,” LuAnn De Lesseps reveals, adding, “I go through it, try it on, I correct it. I’m a stickler for the quality and for when they get it, it’s well made and well done. I’m proud of that. I’m already doing my next line. I’m doing cruise, and then spring, and summer, and fall. It’s exciting!”
But clothing is just the beginning. The Real Housewives of New York star LuAnn De Lesseps is ready to look at accessories as well.
“I want to expand,” De Lesseps explains, adding, “I’m looking at jewelry now and other things to do—in the lifestyle arena, at home. It’s really a way of living.”
It is possible that LuAnn will become a full-time housewife on The Real Housewives of New York this upcoming season, as she may have some unsolved issues with Bethenny Frankel. According to the Inquisitr, Frankel and LuAnn have already butted heads.
