Miley Cyrus Not Entering ‘Tongue Tied’ In NYC Porn Film Festival [UPDATE]

If you have been wondering what on earth Miley Cyrus can do next in her attempts to shock the world, wonder no more. Cyrus has submitted her short film, Tongue Tied to the NYC Porn Film Festival starting later this month.

UPDATE: According to ET Online, Miley Cyrus and filmmaker Quentin Jones did not submit the Tongue Tied short film included at the end of this article, in the NYC Porn Film Festival and it has apparently been removed from the lineup. Apparently neither Cyrus herself nor Jones are participating in the festival. It is unsure whether this is a change of heart on her part or if someone else had submitted the film on Miley’s behalf.

In the short film, the “Wrecking Ball” star poses in various scenarios wearing suggestive bondage gear, looking in some parts eerily like a scene from the upcoming film, Fifty Shades of Grey.

Founder of the porn festival, Simon Leahy, told the New York Post that Cyrus is becoming more of a contemporary artist these days.

“It’s a pop take on S&M. She’s starting to become more of a contemporary artist.”

The 22-year-old appears in the film wearing a blindfold, with her nipples covered by strips of black tape, tied to a chair with her legs strapped down. As shown in the image included above, she wears a mask and sends a few strong hand signals towards the camera.

The film, produced by Quentin Jones, was apparently released online back in May 2014 and was used during Cyrus’ Bangerz tour. Leahy said Miley Cyrus found out about the festival through a mutual London-based friend and decided to send in the footage.

However, according to ET Online, it seems Miley is not likely to attend the prestigious event, sponsored by the free video website, PornHub. The event apparently runs from February 27 through to March 1 at Secret Project Robot. Reportedly the layout of the festival will be similar to a gallery, with a bar for guests and visitors will have the opportunity of viewing amateur and professional work submitted by international filmmakers.

It is unknown whether the PornHub recent favorite, Mia Khalifa, will be at the event. The controversial Lebanese porn star recently made the rounds in the media for recruiting a 17-year-old high-schooler and as reported in the Inquisitr had a music video created just for her.

It all makes people wonder whether Patrick Schwarzenegger’s girlfriend is trying to get a similar profile going online. Miley’s video is included below for your edification. What do you think, reader, has Miley Cyrus taken things just a tad too far this time?
