Kathy Wakile’s Dream Home Is On Hold, ‘RHONJ’ Star Affected By Blizzard

Kathy Wakile’s dream home has reportedly been put on hold following a blizzard, which recently brushed through her hometown and the surrounding areas.

“The stucco has been poured on the Italian countryside-style home and some stones are in place, but there is still much to be done before Wakile and her brood can call this home,” Radar Online reported on February 9.

Kathy Wakile’s dream house looks amazing, according to the photos, but there doesn’t appear to be any construction happening at this time. Instead, what seems to be around one foot of snow is covering the property.

“The house in Franklin Lakes is enormous but not anywhere near done,” neighbor Tom Murro explained.

Despite the holdup, Kathy Wakile and her husband, Richard, are still planning to move into the home before the end of the year.

In a prior interview with Radar Online, Wakile discussed her new home, stating that the house would have an open floor plan, which would be centered around the kitchen.

“All the rooms lead to the kitchen because all roads lead to home, right? All roads lead to the kitchen,” she said.

Earlier this year, as the Inquisitr reported, a source claimed Bravo was claiming to recast The Real Housewives of New Jersey ahead of season seven.

In an interview with Radar Online, the source revealed the following:

“After the seedy drama surrounding Teresa Giudice, production really wants to class up the franchise. They’re looking for someone like Lisa Vanderpump from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

“Mercedes? BMW? That’s not at all what they’re looking for. They want someone who drives even more expensive cars than those. Think Bentley. They also want someone who has a huge house.”

Unfortunately, the type of women Bravo is reportedly after aren’t the type who want to be a part of a reality show like The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

“Women who have that much money simply are not interested in doing something like the Jersey Housewives. For one, they find it to be a trashy franchise. Some of them also do not want the scrutiny of the IRS! Anyone who would go on that show with massive amounts of money would likely be closely monitored after what happened to Teresa, so some people are simply choosing not to do that to themselves.”

Bravo has yet to confirm whether or not Kathy Wakile, or any other members of the existing cast, will return for season seven.
