Kailyn Lowry Attends Grammys, Talks Life After ‘Teen Mom 2’
2015 just started and already it has been a great year for Kailyn Lowry. The Teen Mom 2 star is getting ready to publish a children’s book, release an app, and she had the opportunity to attend the 2015 Grammy Awards. The reality show star was able to get her hair and makeup done and she looked red-carpet fabulous.
However, some fans wondered why a reality show star would be at the Grammy Awards and others questioned the authenticity of her being there. However, pictures don’t lie and there were plenty of photos of Kail on the red carpet, and she was even spotted on E!’s coverage of the red carpet. However, why was Kailyn Lowry there?
“My best friend’s family has been going to the Grammy awards for 12 years now and this year they got extra tickets and invited me.”
However, attending the prestigious awards show wasn’t the only thing Kailyn Lowry did while out in California. The Teen Mom 2 star also “did lunch” with Caleb Nelson, as previously reported by the Inquisitr, and the two were reportedly talking about a new project for the reality show star.
“The app is also being developed through people I met through my best friend’s family. They invested in it. It’s a game app.”
Kailyn spoke to Starcasm about the up and coming project, but there is no word on exactly what kind of app it will be, other than a game. Considering that she is working on her children’s book and is a mom of two young boys, she could very well be creating an app geared at children, although that hasn’t been confirmed.
While Teen Mom 2 is coming back for a sixth season, reuniting the entire cast, the cast knows that the show will not go on forever. In fact, many of the girls have focused on setting themselves up for when the show is eventually off the air. Chelsea Houska is working in the cosmetology business and Leah Messer owns her own salon. Kailyn Lowry, on the other hand, is busy with school and has big plans for her family once the show is over.
“I’m a full time student studying mass communication, so I feel like all of this ties into what I want to do. I just want to do the best I can to set my life and my family’s life up for when the show is done.”
It is best to point out that MTV did not play a role in Kailyn’s trip to California or her ability to attend the Grammy Awards. This was something Kail did all on her own with the help of her close friends. She kept fans updated all night on her experience but noted that she was excited to get home to her boys as well.
Teen Mom 2 will air later this year and will include Kailyn Lowry.
