Jeff Fisher on Tuesday will announce a five-year contract agreement with the St. Louis Rams according to sources close to the teams negotiations.

The St. Louis Rams have announced a 1 p.m. CT news conference for Tuesday when Fisher will be officially introduced.

After the announcement is made Gregg Williams, defensive coordinator for the New Orleans Saints is expected to announce his move to the Rams where he will serve in the same position.

While the team has not made an official announcement Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma tweeted:

“Gregg williams is a great coach, I wish him luck in st Louis.”

While a decision has not been made for the Ram’s offensive coordinator a team source told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen that Fisher would like to land former Raiders coach Hue Jackson.

As for the Rams’ offensive coordinator, a team source told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen that Fisher will interview former Raiders coach Hue Jackson on Wednesday. Also on the coaches short list for offensive coordinators is Green Bay Packers quarterbacks coach Tom Clements.

The Rams are hoping Fisher and his 17 years experience with the Tennessee Titans will help turn around the teams luck. St. Louis was 2-14 last season and have won just 15 games in the last five years. Fisher sat out last season and was considered a top coaching prospect.

Fisher entered the team with the No. 2 pick in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
