Kate Middleton Hosts Posh Party As Her Royal Friend Hosts ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Sex Parties [Video]
Invitations to a royal party hosted by Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and Prince William are highly valued. Add in a list of the entertainment industry’s most illustrious stars, and the invitation becomes a serious object of desire. That’s the story when it comes to the party hosted by Prince William and Kate for selected BAFTA nominees at their royal home on Feb. 7, reported Hello.
Among the stars attending the Kensington Palace party are Reese Witherspoon and Amy Adams. The BAFTAs, sponsored by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, are held on Sunday.
Others honored with the opportunity to chat with Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge are Julianne Moore, Rosamund Pike, Patricia Arquette, Steve Carell and Benedict Cumberbatch.
But it’s Reese with whom Kate is closest, and Witherspoon told Ellen DeGeneres about their initial meeting, below.
Nominated for a BAFTA, Witherspoon became friends with the Duchess when they met in Los Angeles. Reese even sent Kate presents after Prince George was born.
And it’s not just Kate who will have a party pal. Prince William is friends with actor Redmayne. The two met when they were studying at Eton and played on the same rugby team. Eddie praised the Prince.
“”He’s a wonderful man. I always felt slightly sorry for him because everyone wanted to tackle the future king of England. He took all the hits.”
But while Princess Kate carefully follows protocol, her sister Pippa Middleton has drawn some un-royal attention by flaunting her bikini body on their shared vacation recently as the Inquisitr reported.
Ever since she became famous for her well-defined derriere that she displayed at Kate’s royal wedding, Pippa has sparked concern from the royal family. They worry that she will follow in the footsteps of Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, who was known for seeking publicity for herself in her hope of becoming famous on her own.
And although Duchess of Cambridge Kate continues to be cautious about her own public pursuits with an eye to pleasing the Palace, one of her friends is becoming famous for hosting sex parties based on the popularity of Fifty Shades of Grey, reported the Mirror.
Daughter of a diplomat and friend of the Duchess of Cambridge, Emma Sayle has built a growing business based on running sex parties for wealthy patrons. She credits Fifty Shades of Grey for helping her club, called Killing Kittens, soar in popularity.
“We almost doubled our turnover in October when we launched Torture Kittens (a bondage spin-off) and it’s all because of the Fifty Shades of Grey effect,” said Princess Kate’s friend proudly.
“An event in October almost sold out overnight and the girls-only book club events, in which we hold talks about how to be a dominatrix, got much busier.”
