Tim Tebow Will Be Broncos Starting Quarterback in 2012

There is some good news on the Time Tebow stability front. Instead of spending an entire offseason speculating about Tim Tebow and whether the Broncos were going to start him in 2012. Broncos Chief of Football Operations, John Elway, confirmed that heading into training camp, Tebow is their starter.

The Denver Broncos do not even have a second quarterback heading into the 2012 season. We are sure they will have to pick up at least a back up for Tebow, but he is their man.

Elway pledged that he was going to work with Tebow over the offseason to improve his throwing game.

When Tebow took over as Denver’s starter the Broncos were 1-4 and looked poised to have one of their worst seasons ever. Tebow lead the team to win their next six games and 7 of their next 8 earning them a trip to the playoffs. They shocked the nation with an overtime win against the Steelers in the wild card round of the playoffs.

Tebow completed an 80 yard touchdown on the first play of overtime to win that game in the first ever Fair Chance overtime playoff format.

They were subsequently owned by the News England Patriots in the next round and eliminated.

Do you think Tebow should have to compete for his starter’s job in 2012?
