‘Teen Mom’ Amber Portwood Explains Her On-Screen Behavior On Twitter

Teen Mom Amber Portwood has explained her OG behavior online.

On February 5, as reported by the Inquisitr, MTV released a series of sneak peek clips at the upcoming season of their hit reality show. In Portwood’s clip, she was seen arguing with her child’s father, Gary Shirley, who is currently expecting a child with his new girlfriend, Kristina Anderson.

Following the release of the Teen Mom OG trailer, Portwood took to Twitter, where she re-tweeted a message from a fan.

“@AmberLPortwood sometimes you need to stand up against the manipulative bs to show you can’t be walked all over. I think u are doing amazing.”

Moments later, on February 6, she responded to the tweet.

“Things still get the best of me sometimes….and sometimes people just don’t hear you the first time..however you just move forward…love.”

As Radar Online reported on February 5, Portwood and Shirley seemed to be up to their old antics in the Teen Mom OG trailer.

“Don’t call me crying, don’t talk about our f***ing marriage, don’t call me talking about your penis, don’t call me asking me what I’m doing,” Portwood told Shirley.

“You love Kristina, f***ing love Kristina. You’re having a baby with her, have a f***ing baby with her. You’re living together, live with each other. But don’t call me! You made your choice, now stick with it!”

According to Portwood, Shirley had manipulated her and sent her mixed signals about their relationship while he was dating Anderson, who is due to give birth soon.

“You’re telling me you don’t even want a f***ing kid! Get the f*** out of my godd**n house!”

Portwood also claimed Shirley told her they’d be together when she was released from prison, but instead, he began dating Anderson, and eventually got her pregnant.

Although Portwood was understandably hurt by Shirley’s alleged actions, she has since found love with Matthew Baier, and according to an in-depth look at the season, via the Inquisitr, the pair may have gotten engaged while filming the show.

“Newly released from prison, Amber is trying to raise her daughter Leah with her ex, Gary, who is expecting a baby with his new girlfriend. Meanwhile, she is attempting to navigate a life of sobriety while diving back into the world of dating. The decision to accept an engagement proposal from someone she hasn’t known very long could change her world entirely.”

Teen Mom OG premieres on Monday, March 23 at 10 p.m. on MTV.
