Gary Shirley & Amber Portwood At Odds During ‘Teen Mom OG’
Gary Shirley and Amber Portwood are returning to MTV in Teen Mom OG, and according to the series’ trailer, they still aren’t getting along.
For the first four seasons of Teen Mom, Shirley and Portwood were often seen at odds, and now, over two years later, as Shirley awaits the birth of his second child, he and Portwood are continuing to struggle when it comes to their co-parenting relationship.
“I just feel like we’re always going to love each other, there’s just some things that you do that need to stop,” Portwood told Gary Shirley in the clip, which was shared by Radar Online on February 5.
According to Portwood, Shirley has been sending her mixed signals, despite his relationship with Kristina Anderson, who is expected to give birth to their daughter any day now.
“Don’t call me crying, don’t talk about our f***ing marriage, don’t call me talking about your penis, don’t call me asking me what I’m doing. You love Kristina, f***ing love Kristina. You’re having a baby with her, have a f***ing baby with her. You’re living together, live with each other. But don’t call me! You made your choice, now stick with it!”
During a recent catch-up special on MTV, Portwood claimed Shirley began dating Anderson while she was behind bars — even though he allegedly promised her he would be waiting for her when she was released.
“You’re telling me you don’t even want a f***ing kid! Get the f*** out of my god damn house!”
As filming began on Teen Mom OG, so did Portwood’s relationship with her current boyfriend, Matthew Baier.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Baier reportedly proposed to Portwood during filming.
The exciting news was first announced, via MTV press release, by Zap2It:
“Newly released from prison, Amber is trying to raise her daughter Leah with her ex, Gary, who is expecting a baby with his new girlfriend. Meanwhile, she is attempting to navigate a life of sobriety while diving back into the world of dating. The decision to accept an engagement proposal from someone she hasn’t known very long could change her world entirely.”
Also returning to Teen Mom OG are Maci Bookout, Ryan Edwards, Catelynn Lowell, Tyler Baltierra, and Farrah Abraham.
