‘Vanderpump Rules’ Engagement Is ‘Coming,’ Claims Tom Schwartz

A Vanderpump Rules engagement is coming soon, according to cast member Tom Schwartz.

Throughout Season 3 of Vanderpump Rules, Katie Maloney has made it no secret that she intends to marry Schwartz, and now, her dream may finally be coming true.

“We’ve been through a lot. I just need to see that major commitment from him,” Maloney told Hollywood Life on February 5.

Although Schwartz and Maloney faced hardships during Season 3, including a couple of cheating scandals, the pair are doing better than ever, and fans may soon see a Vanderpump Rules engagement air on the show.

“You’ll see. It’s coming up,” Schwartz teased.

According to Schwartz, his cheating episodes served as a “wake up call,” and led to him “appreciating [Maloney] for the amazing woman that she is.”

“I’m going to make it happen,” he promised of a Vanderpump Rules engagement.

Once Schwartz and Maloney become engaged, she claims they will likely walk down the aisle on the show.

“You would definitely see it. We can’t have a moment like that and not see it on Vanderpump Rules, right?”

“It’s coming. It’s coming,” Schwartz added, proclaiming his proposal would be “romantic, elaborate, [and] unforgettable.”

At the end of last month, Maloney caused a stir when she surfaced on Instagram, showing off a photo of herself with a new ring on her engagement finger. As the Inquisitr reported, Maloney didn’t reveal whether or not the ring was an engagement ring. Instead, she spoke of the ring’s designer.

“Love my jewels by @kylechandesign rings and necklaces are his gorgeous creations!”

Despite their hard times during Season 3, Schwartz and Maloney’s relationship is currently healthy and happy, which may be the result of Maloney’s decision to welcome herself into Schwartz’s group of friends, even though they hadn’t gotten along in the past.

Regarding the issue, Maloney opened up in her Bravo blog.

“Tom and I had just gone through an extremely difficult period, and it really shook us both to our core. I had to completely turn my attention and priorities towards our relationship and asses everything. How my process works is that I need to take emotions out of the equation and give the situation a rational and logical look. Next I had to decide where I needed to place importance. Now considering I don’t subscribe to Jax’s bulls***, I no longer placed any importance on what he says and does. I knew that what he says and does can and did affect me, but it was no longer important to me. Rebuilding my relationship was the most important thing to me.”

Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney’s Vanderpump Rules engagement won’t be the show’s first. During Season 3, Scheana Marie and Mike Shay become engaged.
