The Kardashians are always making headlines for one reason or another, but for the first time in years, the famed family will be putting be cancelling all press. According to TMZ, the Kardashians will not be promoting the upcoming tenth season of their ever-popular reality TV series, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. But, why? Apparently, Bruce Jenner is in the fast lane since rumors are running rampant about his plans to share his allegedly transition into a woman with the world.
“Bruce is transitioning to a woman,” a family member allegedly told People. “He is finally happy and his family is accepting of what he’s doing. He’s in such a great space. That’s why it’s the perfect time to do something like this.”
It has been reported that the press-cancelling tactic is a way to “avoid questions” about Bruce’s highly publicized “transition.” Several outlets have also speculated that preview clips of the upcoming season will also be minimal in an effort not to reveal much as the events unfold. Although People magazine claims the former Olympian has a series in the works, which will chronicle his transition, the special won’t air until after the upcoming season of KUWTK set to air this spring.
The shocking turn of events has left many to wonder if the Kardashians will capitalize off Bruce’s highly publicized story. USA Today reports the big story may actually be quite beneficial for the upcoming season of the show because a lot of the details will be revealed when the show airs. Kim Kardashian recently hinted at a number of possibilities on Entertainment Tonight. Although her statement was quite evasive, it did insinuate the new season would be quite interesting.
“I think everyone goes through things in life, but I do think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he’ll share whenever the time is right,” Kim said on Entertainment Tonight. “I think when the time’s right, he’ll talk about whatever he wants to talk about.”
In addition to the upcoming season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Bruce Jenner is reportedly planning to sit down for an exclusive, tell-all interview with Diane Sawyer. It has also been rumored that he will have a two-part E! special documenting his transition from male to female.
