Say farewell to Nicole Snooki Polizzi and Jenni Jwoww Farley — at least when it comes to their reality TV incarnations. Yes, Jersey Shore fans, it’s true. The two women who made Jersey Shore into an adjective have decided that it’s time to end their popular show, but not before they dish on their evolution that ranges from weight loss to weddings, reported Entertainment Tonight.
What happens now that their reality show Snooki & JWoww has ended? For Jenni, it’s all about looking forward to her wedding with Roger. But she admits she learned from Snooki’s Great Gatsby-themed extravaganza.
“I learned that it would have to be smaller to appreciate more. Obviously you don’t want to be rude at your wedding and Nicole was trying to say hi to everyone, and then you’re saying hi to more people and then before you know it, it’s time to wrap it up.”
As to why the girls decided it was time for the show to end? Both expressed concern about having children grow up in the limelight of a TV show.
“I would prefer my kids not be on TV. I kind of just want things to be just me and her. Like even though the show is over, we still want to work together and maybe have another show — we just don’t know what it is yet. But it’ll be just us, not the family,” said Nicole.
And Jenni noted that Snooki’s son, Lorenzo, had even learned the names of the cameramen.
“I think it was actually weird at one point, in a cute and cool way where Lorenzo was talking to the production members and seeing the cameramen and knowing them and talking to them by their first name. And I was like, ‘Oh my God! He’s like really used to this.'”
During the five years of the show, changes have ranged from getting pregnant to having babies to shedding that post-pregnancy weight. Both Nicole and Jenni feel that motherhood has changed them more than anything else.
“Unconditional love,” summed up Jenni of how she feels about her baby.
“Everyone talks about it but you don’t know that feeling, it’s literally it’s your whole heart, so it’s an amazing feeling.”
However, Snooki and JWoww were honest about the hard work involved in restoring their pre-baby bodies, particularly since Nicole wanted to slip into her wedding dress, reported E! News.
To achieve her 99-pound goal, Snooki followed a low-carb diet and trained with Anthony Michael. The celebrity trainer revealed the fitness plan that helped her whittle her waistline and shed the baby bump.
“We’ve been doing some high intensity interval training,” revealed Anthony. “It’s a type of cardio, it’s very short, you only do it 10-15 minutes. It’s about spiking the heart rate. We’re also doing plyometrics, cardio, etc. Right now it’s all really geared for weight loss.”
In addition, as the Inquisitr reported, while Snooki is following a low-carb plan modeled on the Paleo diet, JWoww is using a detox weight loss program.
Jenni shared her detox diet choice via social media.
“Yeah I had a baby four months ago, but can you tell?? @310nutrition cleanse is my secret weapon! Dropped all the junk in my tummy and feeling better than ever! Definitely my go-to after Thanksgiving dinner this year… no bloated mama here!”
