It’s official! Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are officially married. According to E!, Depp and Amber were expected to wed on Depp’s private island this weekend, but instead they decided to get hitched a few days in advance. We bet that has something to do with Page Six leaking out information about the wedding a week before it actually happened.
Although the details were leaked out about the location, Depp and Heard still said “I do” on Johnny’s private island in the Bahamas. The island is 45-acres and gave the couple more than enough room to exchange their nuptials among family and friends.

As the Inquisitr reported, Depp and Heard were originally planned to say “I do” in front of 50 guests, including Heard’s family, Depp’s children, and ex-partner Vanessa Paradis. It isn’t known if anyone attended the wedding, since it was scheduled to happen over the weekend. When we first heard of the news, it was reported that Johnny’s 156-foot vessel named Vajoliroja was the location of choice for the couple.
The fact that they said “I do” is a huge feat for the couple, who was allegedly going through a rough patch not too long ago. On November 12, Depp showed up to the Hollywood Film Awards drunk. After that strange appearance happened, people started to question Depp’s relationship with Heard. That’s when a source said the couple were “constantly on the rocks.”
The source continued to say back in December that they had no intentions of getting married. Of the couple, the source said they “have extreme personalities and are both very intense people. Arguments are bound to arise.”
Despite dealing with rumors throughout his relationship to Heard, Depp opened up to Savannah Guthrie back in April about their relationship and his love for Heard.
“She’s sharp as a tack. A Southern belle and sweet as can be, and very good for me.”

The pair met on the set of their 2010 film The Rum Diary. It was rumored that sparks flew but both stars denied anything was going on, as Depp was still with his longtime partner Vanessa. By the time 2014 rolled around, Amber and Johnny were officially a couple and engaged. Congratulations to the happy couple!
