The SUR Staff Reacts To ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Kristen Doute’s Firing

The SUR staff reacted to new of Kristen Doute’s firing in a special Vanderpump Rules video, shared on Bravo’s official website after Monday night’s episode aired.

On February 2, a two-minute video of Scheana Marie, Katie Maloney, Ariana Madix, and Tom Sandoval revealing their thoughts on Doute’s exit hit the web.

“I didn’t even know that just happened. I just heard Lisa yelling, ‘She’s gone,’ and I was like, ‘She’s gone like she left, or she’s gone like she’s fired?'” Marie said in the video. “And, like, a long time coming, I don’t know. I have no idea what just happened.”

Maloney spoke out next.

“Before I allow myself to get too pumped about it, you have to remember that she’s gotten away with everything besides murder, because, honestly, not to be a b***h, but it’s about f**king time.”

While Marie and Maloney were certainly not surprised by the news, considering Doute’s outrageous behavior towards her SUR staff manager, Diana, during last week’s episode, no one appeared more excited than Sandoval and Madix.

“I like don’t believe it’s real,” Madix said.

“I am giddy about it,” Sandoval added. “I wish I could have been there to have seen it myself.”

“I don’t like to celebrate when bad things happen to people, but when bad things happen to bad people, it’s hard not to feel a little bit of glee,” Madix explained.

As fans of Vanderpump Rules have seen, Madix had struggled to be a part of the SUR staff with Doute on board.

“Feel great about having something really good happen,” Sandoval then told Madix, noting Doute as an “evil tyrant.”

“We can now work in peace.”

“I feel like people don’t give her enough credit for her crazy,” Madix continued.

“They’re like, ‘Oh, no, she’s not. That’s mean. You shouldn’t say that. You can’t quantify someone as crazy.’ No. It’s on another level.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Doute opened up about her exit from the SUR staff in an interview with E! News on Tuesday.

“My time was up. The place was really getting to me, especially having to work with Tom and Arianna, it was just eating away at me every day,” she explained.

“I definitely think I should have quit a long time ago so it didn’t get to the place that it did. I’m glad I don’t work there anymore but I’m not proud of the fact I got fired. It’s embarrassing… I do think that Lisa has a little bit of a vendetta against me. She doesn’t like me. We don’t get along. Our personalities just clash.”
