Porsha Williams Defends NeNe Leakes In ‘RHOA’ Fight: Claudia Went Too Far
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams may only be a friend of the housewives this season, but she is staying up to date with everything that is happening with the ladies. Porsha went with the women to Puerto Rico and she saw the fight between NeNe Leakes and Claudia Jordan at the dinner table. But, it sounds like Williams is coming to NeNe’s defense.
In fact, Porsha Williams doesn’t think that NeNe did anything wrong when it comes to the fight. Porsha believes that Leakes was simply provoked, which is why she decided to fight back with some low-blow comments that later resulted in an apology. While Claudia was not eager to accept the apology, Williams believes that NeNe was indeed innocent in this ordeal.
According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams is now revealing that she is in full support of her friend, even though many viewers felt that Leakes went too far with her comments. As the other housewives said, NeNe left and returned as NayNay.
“It just got to be kind of a dark moment,” says Claudia of the fight, which had Porsha Williams adding, “I felt like some of the things that were said to NeNe were a little below the belt — and it caused NeNe to then go even lower.”
Of course, Leakes did take it further and called Jordan some seriously harsh things. And while Porsha Williams was just sitting back and laughing at the entire fight, some of the wives were clearly shocked by the lack of disrespect. But Williams explains that she just doesn’t care too much for people who play the victim.
“We are friends and we do have a relationship,” Porsha says of NeNe, adding, “I just happen to not have a relationship with the other girls … People like me, who are real, we just don’t operate very well with people who are the villain and play victim.”
But maybe Porsha Williams should consider finding some friends on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Not only is she planning on returning to the show on a full-time basis, but Williams is also facing some potential legal troubles over some business dealings. This week, Porsha Williams announced that she would be launching a new line of t-shirts which read “#unbothered.” Apparently, another person has been developing the same kind of pattern for a few months. When Porsha announced the new line, the designer, named Teyana Taylor, wrote the following on her Instagram post.
“No it will not be coming out because unbothered is my clothing line, legally as well & u follow me so I’m sure you know what it is. So you should take this down,” Taylor wrote beneath the photo of Williams’ shirt.
