Whoopi Goldberg Weighs In On Bobbi Kristina’s Prognosis, It ‘Does Not Look Good’

The View’s Whoopi Goldberg introduced the news about Bobbi Kristina Brown’s hospitalization earlier in the day. Goldberg, visibly upset, was very hesitant to even speak about the situation.

On the program, Goldberg said about the news of Bobbi Kristina Brown, “This is a tough story to even start to talk about. TMZ is saying the prognosis does not look good, and the family hasn’t made an official statement. I guess what we’re doing is letting you know there’s no more information than that, but we would be remiss if we didn’t mention it.”

As the Inquisitr reported, the 21-year-old is still on a ventilator. Bobbi was found face down in a bathtub on Saturday morning, and a 911 call was made that she had “drowned.” Police took over CPR for her husband Nick Gordon.

Soon after the news hit of the tragedy, Bobbi’s father, Bobby Brown, rushed to her side with the help of Tyler Perry, who flew him out to Atlanta. Currently, Bobbi is in a medically-induced coma at North Fulton Hospital in Georgia.

Bobby Brown issued a statement quickly after the report.

“Privacy is requested in this matter. Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time.”

Although Bobbi Kristina is alive, her brain activity is reported as “significantly diminished” in the wake of the incident. People Magazine reported that medical doctors told the family that it would take “a miracle” for her to recover from this.

A family friend told the publication about Bobbi’s father’s state.

“This is his worst nightmare. Losing Whitney [Houston] was hard, but this is a million times worse, and to lose her in the same way would devastate him.”

Last we heard about Bobbi Kristina’s status was in the form of a few tweets from journalist Jessica Jaglois of WSBTV.

This story is still developing.
