Bruce Jenner’s Family Supportive About His Transition Decision

Bruce Jenner’s decision to transition to a woman shocked fans and the world this weekend. But a source told People magazine that all of Jenner’s family support his transition decision. However, not everyone in his family knew about his transition plans until recently.

The source told People, “There was a lot they didn’t know about their dad.” The source alluded to the fact that the younger Jenner children, Kylie and Kendall, and the Kardashians didn’t know. The kids and Jenner’s ex-wife, Kris Jenner, are now supportive of the former Olympian’s decision to transition.

“The number one thing is they all support Bruce. Kris [Jenner] has been great and anything that says the opposite just isn’t true. It’s really a hard adjustment for her and a shock but she 100% supports him – the whole family does.”

People magazine broke the news on Friday that Jenner, 65, plans to live his life as a female woman. The news was also reported on the Inquisitr. A source close to the family said that Jenner has already made plans to transition into a woman and that he is very “happy” about his decision.

“Bruce is transitioning to a woman. He is finally happy and his family is accepting of what he’s doing. He’s in such a great space. That’s why it’s the perfect time to do something like this.”

A different source recently said that Jenner is filming his transition for a docu-series that will air sometime this year. The docu-series will run on the E! Network in May or June. Jenner will also reportedly have a sit-down interview on a different network about his transition. He’s also shopping around ideas for his own reality show.

Jenner’s looks started to change dramatically in 2013. The former Olympian was spotted with longer hair, earrings, and longer fingernails. At the time, he wore a ponytail. Jenner now wears his long hair down, despite the cruel jokes and criticism he’s received.

The E! Network, which airs Keeping Up With the Kardashian and its popular spinoffs, have not released a comment regarding Jenner’s transition news. A rep for the Kardashians/Jenners family was also not available for comment by Access Hollywood.

Jenner’s stepdaughter, Kim Kardashian West, previously hinted about his personal journey during a sit-down interview with Entertainment Tonight, which aired last Monday.

“I think everyone goes through things in life, and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he’ll share whenever the time is right.”

The Kardashians/Jenners are making the best decision for them, which is supporting Bruce Jenner. Earlier this month, Kim shared a photo of the Kardashian sisters on the couch alongside Jenner and his two daughters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner. The photo was captioned, “Family first.”
