Super Bowl XLIX Movie Trailers: All The Movie Trailers Aired During The Big Game

Super Bowl XLIX was an incredible game that saw the New England Patriots defeat the Seattle Seahawks 28-24. There were a lot of others that just watched for the commercials and those that were too caught up in football and missed them. A lot of big time movie trailers aired during the Super Bowl this year, and this is your place to catch up on all of them.

There were plenty of commercials during the big game. Some were funny while others were serious. Commercials aired that told a legitimate message while others made no sense at all. The movie trailers were perfect though, and are setting up fans for a big year at theaters.

Some of the trailers have already premiered online, but here are all those that aired during the Super Bowl itself.

Terminator Genisys – Opens July 1

Arnold Schwarzenegger meets the younger version of himself in Terminator form, and the big game brought about the big quote – “I’ll be back!”

Jurassic World – Opens June 12

Tomorrowland – Opens May 22

Disney’s movie about what the future may bring shows George Clooney as an inventor that knows the key to seeing what is to come. The first trailer was released back in October.

Kingsman: The Secret Service – Opens February 13

Insurgent – Opens March 20

Hot Tub Time Machine 2 – Opens 20

Minions – Opens July 10

Getting out of the shadow of their master (father) Gru, the Minions are now on their own. A lot of them aren’t going to be wearing pants either.

Ted 2 – Opens June 26

Ted and Tami-Lynn want to have a baby after getting married, but they know that they will need a donor. The Super Bowl movie trailer spot showed that Ted has big dreams of a possible donor and it’s none other than Tom Brady of the New England Patriots.

Seventh Son – Opens February 6

A young man named Thomas has to realize that he is the chosen one and that he will have to face great challenges to save the world from immense evil.

A couple trailers that were set to air during Super Bowl XLIX never did make it into the commercial breaks. One in particular is that of Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron which IGN revealed a few days ago as it landed online.

A lot of the footage had already been seen, but there were some new moments. Captain America being choked by Ultron and Hulk swatting away Iron Man in the Hulkbuster suit were both new pieces from the film.

Super Bowl XLIX brought about some great football action, some interesting commercials, and a lot of movie trailers. 2015 is going to be a great year for movies and now you can watch plenty of what is coming your way this year.
