Minka Kelly Rejects Jake Gyllenhaal, Gets Back Together With Derek Jeter

After her breakup from New York Yankees star Derek Jeter, Minka Kelly had the opportunity to rebound with Jake Gyllenhaal. But Kelly was apparently too pre-occupied with her former love to take notice of Gyllenhaal’s advances.

On the Red Carpet reports that the former “Friday Night Lights” star rejected Gyllenhaal in order to try and “patch things up” with Jeter.

Well, it worked. Kelly and Jeter reportedly got back together over the holidays in Paris.

Kelly and Jeter dated for three years before breaking up last August. But the two are apparently back together.

A source who saw the couple in Paris told People Magazine:

“They looked much in love. They were always very, very close [and] very playful as a couple with each other.”

Minka Kelly’s love life may be on the ups but her acting career just took a small hit. Kelly recently starred in a reboot of “Charlie’s Angels” but the show was cancelled due to low ratings.

But 2011 wasn’t a bad year for Kelly. She also appeared in “Just Go With It” with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston and “The Roommate” with Leighton Meester.

As for Gyllenhaal, the 31-year-old actor will have to keep looking for love. Which I’m guessing won’t be too hard for the “Source Code” actress.
