Woman Breaks Up Celebration To ‘Proclaim Jesus Christ Over The Capitol Of Texas’
Christine Weick and fellow protesters are back at it, although I’m not sure how Jesus Christ would feel about it.
Christine Weick made a name for herself last year when she “proclaimed Christ during a Muslim prayer service at the National Cathedral in Washington,” according to Christian News.
On Thursday, Weick decided to take over a podium at the Texas Muslim Capitol Day.
Weick was part of a group of protesters who were not so peacefully protesting in the name of Jesus Christ, which seems to be a bit of an oxymoron.
As Weick forcefully took over the podium, she stated, “I proclaim the name of the Lord Jesus Christ over the capitol of Texas.”
The Michigan native, who has been traveling around the country speaking out against Islamic events, added, “I stand against Islam and the false prophet Mohammad.”
Before being forcefully removed from the podium, the wacky Weick shouted, “Islam will never dominate the United States, and by the grace of God, it will not dominate Texas!”
As Weick marched off in the name of Jesus, a few cheers could be heard by fellow protesters.
Weick wasn’t the only one making a noise in the name of Christ at the Austin, Texas, celebration. According to Raw Story, other protesters were “repeatedly shouting ‘No Sharia’ and screaming ‘Go home.’” Protesters even shouted at children attending the event. How very Christ-like of them.
The celebration that was created by the Texas chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations was meant to be “an opportunity for community members to learn about the democratic political process and how to be an advocate for important issues.”
Instead it turned into an unfortunate protest.
There were approximately 20 protesters there. Not only were they screaming, they were carrying signs saying, “Radical Islam Is The New Nazi” and “Go Home & Take Obama With You.”
People have had some strong words for these Christians protesting in the name of Jesus. One Twitter user asking, “are you… serious?”

Other people mocked the “Christian” habits these protesters displayed, while another referred to Christine Weick as a “monster.”

I sincerely wonder just how Jesus Christ would feel if he could see people proclaiming to follow his teachings screaming at children.
