Fans can watch the Australia vs. England cricket match live online and see which team comes out victorious in the Carlton Mid Tri-Series and snatches some much-needed momentum going into the World Cup next month.
The teams will meet Sunday in the final and deciding match, with action starting at 11:20 a.m. local time (3:20 a.m. GMT) from Perth.
English captain Eoin Morgan said the win gave England confidence going into the final.
“We had a bad run before this tour but now we’re winning games. Winning on Sunday would be huge,” said Morgan. “We made things very hard for ourselves, which we tend to do. But the guys were ruthless in the end.”
Morgan said the English squad did a great job of adapting to difficult conditions in the match, which had been a weak point in the past.
“The bowing as a whole was really good,” Morgan told Test Match Special. “We took advantage of the extra bit of bounce and the uneven conditions, bowling a lot of cross-seam balls. In the past we haven’t adapted that well, so that’s a big positive.”
England could have another advantage. Australian star Shane Watson will likely be on the sidelines, with coach Darren Lehmann saying he probably won’t be ready to return from his hamstring injury.
“I don’t think he’ll play, to be perfectly honest… We want to make sure everyone is 100 percent before they play for Australia,” Lehmann said.
