Why Did Kristen Stewart Wear Robert Pattinson’s Sweater?

Kristen Stewart was spotted wearing the same jumper that her ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson previously owned earlier this week. And, as has become the norm, this immediately sparked rumors that she was still head over heels in love with her former beau.

As Movie Pilot reported, just a few days ago Kristen Stewart was spotted walking down a Los Angeles street wearing a rather fetching sweater. You can check out Stewart’s rather chic attire below.

However, this wasn’t the first time that Kristen Stewart has been spotted wearing this jumper.

You can check out another image of the Twilight actress in the jumper while posing with Charlize Theron at the 2012 WonderCon, below.

However, the fact that Stewart was once again wearing a jumper that she’d previously worn in 2012 wasn’t the biggest shock of this entire debacle.

Nope. The biggest shock came from the revelation that the sweater actually used to belong to her ex-boyfriend, Robert Pattinson.

Don’t believe me? Then check out this 2011 picture of the English actor, which was taken in Toronto while he filmed David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis in the Canadian city.

Now is this Kristen Stewart’s way of saying that she is still in love with Robert Pattinson? Is she using his clothes to send out a message of intent? A message that she wants to split the actor up from his current girlfriend, FKA Twigs?

Obviously not. What has clearly happened here is that, like everyone in the world, Kristen Stewart has a old jumper that she loves wearing. It doesn’t matter how old or tattered it is or who it used to belong to. It’s just a piece of attire that she feels comfortable in.

Since splitting up last year, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have reportedly landed themselves new spouses. Pattinson has been dating the musician FKA Twigs for several months now. Meanwhile, there have been various rumors that Kristen Stewart has recently started a relationship with Alice Cargile.

Stewart’s career is also going from strength to strength, too. Earlier this week it was revealed, via IndieWire, that Stewart had become the first American actress in 30 years to be nominated for a Cesar Award, which are widely regarded as the French Oscars.

Stewart nabbed the nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Olivier Assayas’ Clouds of Sils Maria, which she starred opposite Juliette Binoche and Chloe Grace Moretz in.
