Kanye West On Being Married To Kim Kardashian: ‘I Just Want Whatever Kim Wants’

Kanye West doesn’t always make himself 100 percent clear when it comes to speaking his mind to reporters. Even though he often talks a lot, sometimes it’s hard to decipher precisely what he is actually trying to say.

But when it comes to his marriage to Kim Kardashian, which has been under the close scrutiny of the media’s eye since it started, Kanye says all is good, and that he has learned a lot about himself from married life.

Opening up about what life is really like with Kim, Kanye West said on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday, “I’ve definitely learned how to compromise more. I’ve learned how to shut up more… I think I’m a better human being because of her and because of my daughter.”

In feeling the need to explain some of his previous actions, the Grammy winner shared with Ellen and the rest of the world that he appreciates having Kim as his wife.

“I have always someone to think about going home to. There’s things I’ve done in the past that were considered negative, but I was really jumping in front of the tank for other people or for culture in a way. Now, I always have to have that in my mind that I have a family I have to protect too.”

When even Ellen commented that Kanye seemed much calmer these days, he attributed that partly to his daughter, North West.

“My daughter, she just wants to express herself, but she just doesn’t have the words for it. For me, there’s so many things I want to do with film, with clothing, and I just didn’t have the words.There’s no amount of money that someone can give you to make you not be creative… a lot of times people try to block you, control your creativity with money.”

But Kanye West left the bomb until last, when he said that for him it’s all about what Kim wants, despite numerous reports in the media to the contrary.

When asked about the possibility of a brother or sister for North West, Kanye admitted, “Yeah, we’re trying… I just want whatever Kim wants.”
