Lana Del Rey’s Relationship With Francesco Carrozzini Hits Heavy Turbulence

Maybe James Franco has a shot with Lana Del Rey after all.

The New York Daily News is reporting that the Ultraviolence singer and her Italian photographer boyfriend, Francesco Carrozzini, were spotted in a screaming match at LAX airport on Monday.

“They were fighting at the Delta terminal at LAX Airport on Monday,” their source reported. “Lana was completely in tears, crying her eyes out, and fighting with her boyfriend. They looked like they were having a big blow-up fight. Lana looked completely stressed out and upset.”

This news comes just one week after the Daily Mail spotted the couple cozying up together on his motorcycle before a romantic drive around Los Angeles. Lana sported a full-on denim ensemble and braided hair while Francesco donned a leather motorcycle jacket and shades.

Del Rey and Carrozzini were rumored to have begun their romance last June, when the “Summertime Sadness” singer told the Swiss newspaper 20 Minuten that she and former fiancé Barrie-James O’Neill had broken up. Lana and Barrie were together for three years prior to the break-up.

The irony of it all is that, just recently, many websites were claiming that actor James Franco was making an open play at Lana’s attention with an essay penned for V Magazine. It started when James wrote about bringing one of Del Rey’s movie ideas to life.

“She has this idea for a film,” James wrote in an essay, “I want to do it because it’s a little like ‘Sunset Boulevard.’ A woman is alone in a big house in L.A. She doesn’t want to go out. She starts to go crazy, and becomes paranoid because she feels like people are watching her. Even in her own house.”

Franco then continued with his effusive praise, calling the idea “an awesome B-movie that lives in Lana’s head. It’s about her, and it’s not about her. Just like her music.

He then added, “[She] isn’t made for this Earth,” causing many to wonder if James was openly courting the taken singer.

In the end, however, if Lana Del Rey and Francesco Carrozzini do eventually break-up, there could be more than one winner aside from James Franco. As reported by the Inquisitr, Lana recently told the Los Angeles Times that sadness is where she finds happiness. And that happiness translates into new music:

“Sad is happy to me,” she says. “When I write something bittersweet, I smile. Making a record — it’s where all the fun is. When I’m done, it’s like, oh, God. I kind of go into mourning.”

Looks like Lana Del Rey just may have stumbled onto new material for her music.
