Big Sean Dismisses Naya Rivera’s Accusation Against Him, Says He Would Never Steal A Rolex From Anybody

When rapper Big Sean and actress Naya Rivera called it quits last year, a lot of bickering and name calling ensured, turning the ex-lovers into full on haters.

In a deleted tweet that the Glee actress posted shortly after their break-up, Rivera blamed Big Sean for allegedly stealing her expensive Rolex watch. “Maybe cuz I’m on Glee and making more money or something. #triflin,” she tweeted.

Big Sean answered all about the allegations and even spoke about his relationship with Rivera in the latest issue of Complex Magazine which featured him in the cover. “First of all, why would I have to steal a Rolex?” Big Sean said. “Every Rolex that I have, I have receipts for, papers for, certificates of authenticity for. I would never steal a Rolex from anybody.”

The rapper noted how the tweet was deleted within a minute, further trashing Rivera’s claim. “I wasn’t surprised by it. Even though I didn’t steal anything, I wasn’t surprised by it.” This is the first time that Big Sean addressed the issue after he and Rivera called off their engagement last year. The 28-year old actress married fellow actor Ryan Dorsey on the same date that she was set to wed Big Sean.

Reports surfaced that Rivera and Big Sean were constantly fighting towards the end of their engagement. The rapper produced Rivera’s debut single, Home, which underperformed in the charts, causing Rivera to be dropped by her recording label. The painful break-up was the main inspiration behind Big Sean’s newest hit, “I Don’t F— With You. The line “And every day I wake up celebrating sh–, why? / ‘Cause I just dodged a bullet from a crazy bitch” is reported to be about his most recent heartbreak.

Big Sean admitted how the track “did not come from a bitter place at all,” and was rather a way for him to cope with moving forward. He’s in a better place now, dating chart-topping singer Ariana Grande. Grande and Big Sean are frequent collaborators and the friendship that started inside the studio eventually blossomed to real life.

He revealed how his new relationship is much better than the time he spent with Rivera simply because of the fact that he and Grande were friends first before becoming lovers. “It was cool to have a girl that I could talk to about my problems,” he said. “It’s not some fake-ass, inauthentic sh– when I say we were friends. This is something special and I appreciate every moment of it.”
