‘Uptown Funk’: High School’s Dance Video Goes Viral, Bruno Mars Responds!

Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars have the biggest hit in the country right now with Uptown Funk, and several people have made videos using that song. According to USA Today, a high school in Dallas, Texas, made a music video to the song, and it featured a teacher and several students. The video already has well over four million views!

“Students at A. Maceo Smith New Tech High School in Dallas, Texas, along with theater teacher Scot Pankey, organized and shot the video and uploaded it to YouTube,” reports USA Today.

Bruno Mars has responded to the video, which he says made him cry!

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the students at A. Maceo Smith New Tech High School spent two weeks practicing for the video, which has gone viral in just a couple of days.

“It took about 45 minutes. We had one student filming it and two who were pulling him on a library cart. He had to get off and walk backwards on the stairs and then get back on and off. That was some of the most difficult part of the choreography because that timing had to be just right,” explained theater arts teacher (and now-YouTube star) Scot Pankey.
