Taryn Manning’s Former Friend Turned Stalker Sentenced To Jail For 45 Days

Taryn Manning’s stalker has been sentenced to 45 days in jail, and is also ordered to take part in an inpatient psychiatric treatment program.

These charges were made against Manning’s former friend-turned-stalker, Janine Heller, when Heller pleaded guilty to harassing the Orange is the New Black actress.

According to E!, Heller’s inpatient psychiatric treatment will happen after she completes her 45 days in jail. Her treatment will last for 7-10 days and following her treatment, she will have to join an outpatient program for three weeks.

Heller has time and time again violated a restraining order that Taryn Manning obtained over the summer. In the beginning of the month, she texted Manning and decided to share a “manifesto claiming to outline the history of the relationship” between the two to the popular site Reddit.

In one of those several text messages she sent Manning, she said, “I miss you. Don’t ruin your pretty smile with cigarettes. This is your fairy godmother.” Heller sent another to the actress, texting, “I was in the hospital last month. I tried to kill myself. I don’t know why you teamed up to hurt me.”

Taryn’s stalker faced “24 counts of criminal content and two counts of stalking.”

The last time we heard about this case, it was Manning that was on the other side of the law. Back in November, the actress was arrested after allegedly threatening to kill her stalker. That said, Taryn and her attorney denied such a thing happened.

“The District Attorney declined to prosecute Ms. Manning and the arrest was voided. The allegation was false. It is unfortunate that additional false allegations by an individual convicted of violating orders of protection intended to protect Ms. Manning are facilitated by purported news organizations to perpetuate the harassment of Ms. Manning exponentially.”

It was initially reported by TMZ that Taryn’s text message to Heller that stated, “I will kill you, b**** … Go f**k yourself and die … What’s taking so long? Shouldn’t you be dead by now?”

Taryn eventually took TMZ up to task on Twitter with a few tweets. Most of them are now deleted, and probably for good reason, but her initial tweet is still up.

So far, Taryn hasn’t addressed her stalker’s verdict on Twitter.
