Man Arrested For Urinating On 26-Year-Old Waitress At Key West Bar

A 20-year-old man from Florida has been arrested after he allegedly urinated on a waitress, 26-year-old Tia Cruz, at Rick’s bar in Key West.

The Daily Mail reported that, according to the police report of the incident, the suspect, Orion Jones, decided to relieve himself in the early hours of Saturday morning onto poor Cruz from a balcony on the island’s largest bar complex.

It would appear that Jones was pretty drunk when the cops arrived to question him, and he was reportedly fighting with club security in the street. He then fled from the police, but was eventually caught and handcuffed after they tasered him twice.

The waitress, Tia, told police that she was talking with a customer when she “began feeling something wet on her body.” At first, she thought it was raining, police noted, until a fellow employee “pointed out Jones and said he is peeing on you.”

After he was spotted peeing on Cruz, Jones was chased through the bar and pinned down by bouncers, who waited until the police arrived. Jones was charged with disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest, confirming that he was indeed very drunk at the time of the incident.

Orion Jones is well known to the police and had a number of previous convictions, including two for marijuana possession, as well as arrests for burglary and trespassing.

As arresting officer Curtiss Richardson noted on the police report, “In speaking with Jones, Jones expressed his desire to seek help for his alcohol problem.”

The phenomenon of people peeing on each other is not a new one, and there is actually a name for the practice, which is known as Urolagnia. While in the world of pornography the act is usually referred to as “watersports,” it’s not clear if Jones urinated on Cruz due to a fetish or simply because he was drunk and felt like peeing off a balcony.
