Justin Bieber may have millions of females around the world swooning for him, but Charli XCX is not one of them. Charli recently sat down for an interview with the U.K. radio station Capital FM, during which she played a game of “Lips, Wife, Leave It.” The game asks people to say who they would rather kiss, marry, or avoid altogether. Charli was given three showbiz males to choose from: Drake, 5 Seconds of Summer’s Michael Clifford, and Justin Bieber.
The British singer and songwriter, whose hits include “Boom Clap” and “Fancy” with Iggy Azalea, opted for Drake and Michael Clifford. She implied that she loves Drake’s somber demeanor. When the radio host mentioned that Drake supposedly gets involved with strippers, Charli said that it wouldn’t be a problem because she loves strippers and so they could go to the strip clubs together.
As for Michael Clifford, Charli sees a lot of fun possibilities with his ever-changing hair color.
“I think, you know, it’s going to be in that order … lips would be Drake! He’s cute – you just want to cuddle him and be like, ‘aw, Drake it’s alright.’ Wife … I think I’d have to go with Michael. He’s cute and I could do lots of home hair dye kits on him and make his hair all different colors.”
Charli XCX’s answer may have changed if she was reminded about the violent allegations from strippers that Drake has faced. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the Canadian rapper even came under investigation in October 2014 after a stripper claimed that he had his people threaten her because he was afraid that she would spill all to the media about their sexual encounter. The stripper claimed that she received angry texts from Drake and then people from his camp went to her apartment and kicked down the door.
That leaves Justin Bieber out. Charli made clear, however, that she’s a big fan of the Canadian pop star and loves his breakout hit “Baby.” It seems that she just doesn’t find him very attractive sexually.
“Just to say, there’s no … I’m a big Bieber fan and ‘Baby’ is one of my favorite songs of all time, but I’ll have to leave him.”
Unfortunately for Charli, she may not be doing much kissing right now. In an interview with Seventeen for its December/January 2015 issue, Charli XCX admitted that she is too busy trying to dominate the music charts to be in a serious relationship with anyone.
“I’m too busy taking over the world to have a boyfriend right now. But it’s not like a no-go or anything like that.”
