‘Teen Mom’ Star Opening Salon — Is It Chelsea Houska?
It shouldn’t come as any surprise that many Teen Mom stars pursue other avenues aside from being a reality show star. Farrah Abraham is a business woman, Kailyn Lowry is in school and writing books, and Leah Messer-Calvert opened a salon. It turns out that another cast member is going to be opening her own salon, but who is it?
Most fans would guess Chelsea Houska. The Teen Mom 2 star has been working hard at her cosmetology career and, most recently, has been applying makeup for boudoir shoots. She recently revealed that she has a busy week ahead of her working.
Despite her busy schedule, she still finds time for love. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the Teen Mom 2 star has been busy filming for the new season with her new boyfriend, Cole DeBoer. The two have been dating since last summer and things seem to be getting pretty serious (Chelsea’s daughter, Aubree loves him), but they are reportedly taking things slow.
Despite the fact that there is so much going on in her life, Chelsea Houska isn’t the Teen Mom star who is opening up her own salon, at least not yet. Rather, it turns out that Teen Mom 3 star Mackenzie Douthit-McKee is opening her own salon. She shared the news with her fans on Twitter and revealed her decorating theme.
Mackenzie Douthit-McKee appeared on Teen Mom 3 along with Katie Yeager, Briana Dejesus, and Alex Sekella. The four girls had previously been featured on 16 and Pregnant season four and, while the Teen Mom shows typically go over well, the latest installment was cancelled after only one season. As a result, the girls are no longer on television, but they still have large fan bases.
Since appearing on the show, Mackenzie Douthit-McKee has had another baby (a little girl named Jaxie) and she and her boyfriend, Josh McKee, tied-the-knot. The two have been living a pretty quiet life in Oklahoma and seem incredibly happy. Now, with the announcement of a new salon, it seems that things are going well for the couple.
Mackenzie Douthit-McKee hasn’t revealed any other details about her up-and-coming salon. However, it will likely be opening in her home state of Oklahoma. There is also no word on when the salon will be open, but the Teen Mom 3 stars will no doubt keep her fans updated about her new venture.
