Taylor Swift Debuts Belly Button In Bikini Pic, Fans ‘Freak Out’

Taylor Swift has said that she’s not a fan of showing her belly button in pictures or otherwise, but that changed this week. According to Hollywood Life, the “Blank Space” singer posted a picture of herself with some girlfriends in Hawaii, and she was in a bikini! The gossip site claims that this is the very first time that fans have seen Taylor’s belly button and that many “freaked out” over the pic.

“Taylor Swift fans have been highly anticipating this epic moment! The fashion icon and Grammy Award-winning singer typically opts for high-waisted bottoms, but she dared to bare it all while sightseeing in Maui,” reports Hollywood Life.

Taylor Swift is fairly conservative, which has been great because she is a role model to a lot of pre-teens. She is hardly ever making headlines because of a controversial outfit. According to E! News, Swift has always wanted that part of her body to remain a “mystery,” but she also isn’t going to go out of her way to hide it at this point.

“I don’t like showing my belly button. I want that to be a mystery. As far as anyone knows based on my public appearances, they haven’t seen evidence of a belly button. It could be pierced. They have no idea. If I’m going to get some sort of massive tattoo, it’s going to be right next to my belly button because no one’s ever going to see that,” Swift said recently.

Evidently “ever” means something different to her.

And then, of course, Twitter went nuts.

Taylor Swift proved that getting naked won’t necessarily be the thing to “break the internet.” All the country/pop star had to do was show off her belly button, and that move (which was more than likely unintentional) has taken over the web this weekend. Interestingly enough, the rest of Swift’s photos from her Hawaiian vacation (so far) haven’t shown very much skin at all.

In fact, her most recent pic shows her in a one piece swimsuit, and the caption reads, “She’s always wearing, like, a 1950’s bathing suit.”

Leave it to Swift to play the game ever better than the media.

As for other TSwift mysteries, someone hinted at knowing “secrets,” and potentially spilling the beans about the starlet. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Katy Perry’s ex-boyfriend Diplo spoke out about Swift — and called her fans “crazy.”

“She has like 40 million Twitter fans. Forty million! Yeah. It’s crazy. I’m a fan though. Her powers — she’s big. She’s strong, bro. Taylor Swift is very strategic with her friends and enemies. And I know lots of secrets. I can’t divulge, but I know a lot of stuff about her. And she’s definitely, there’s definitely scary stuff going on. And I’m scared. I’m scared for my life,” he said.
