Bravo’s Real Housewives Of Orange County cast will soon be reunited with former star Jeana Keough. However, her role on the show will only be part-time.
On January 24, TMZ reported the following.
“Jeana Keough is coming back to ‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’ — but she’ll be a part-time cast member… for now.
“Jeana’s been shouting from the rooftops about her return to the show she left in 2009 — but production sources tell TMZ her camera time will be limited to start the season. We’re told Bravo execs want to see if fans are still into Jeana… before they go all in.”
Last time fans saw Keough on Bravo’s Real Housewives of Orange County, she and her former co-star, Tamra Barney, were at odds. Following Barney’s divorce from her ex-husband, Simon, Keough sided with Simon, which caused tons of tension between her and Barney. Ultimately, the two faced off at a cast party, and Barney tossed a glass of wine on Keough.
As the Inquisitr reported, rumors first surfaced regarding Keough’s return to Bravo’s Real Housewives of Orange County earlier this month.
“Bravo has reached out to Jeana,” an insider told Radar Online on January 13. “They have asked her what is going on in her life with the hopes of understanding what a potential storyline for her could be.”
“[Keough] has had lots of changes going on in her life. Her daughter recently got married, her oldest son is dating someone new, and she has two exchange students that live with her and keep her busy! Vicki and Jeana are still good friends. Vicki has made it publicly known on social media that she would love Jeana to come back, and the two definitely would have a great relationship.”
Keough appeared on the show from Season 1 until Season 5 and made a few guest appearances since her full-time role was cut back. Now her future role remains uncertain. While TMZ’s source claims her role would be limited to part-time, Radar’s source claimed she’d likely be seen full-time, as she was during earlier seasons of the show.
“Since the show was initially built around Jeana, it wouldn’t make sense for her to be a [part-time cast member]. Hopefully, they would want to honor her legacy in the franchise and give her a full-time position.”
Bravo’s Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 is currently filming. No premiere date has yet been set.
