Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, I Am Alive part of ‘House Party 2012’ XBLA promotion

Microsoft appears to have gotten ahead of themselves and uploaded a trailer for this year’s XBLA ‘House Party’ promotion before, which confirms this year’s lineup of four digital titles, before actually announcing the promotion.

According to the video, the ‘House Party 2012’ lineup includes: Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, the follow-up to the original Alan Wake; Warp, a sci-fi stealth title from indie developer Trapdoor; Nexuiz, a first-person shooter from developer Alientrap utilizing CryEngine 3; and I Am Alive, the long-awaited post-apocalyptic action title from Ubisoft.

The trailer doesn’t say when we can expect this year’s ‘House Party’ promotion to kick off, nor has Microsoft said anything as of writing, but Microsoft’s House Party promotions generally take place in and around February, and it’s likely that’s when this year’s promotion will start.

A Microsoft rep told VG247 that we can expect to hear more news on the House Party 2012 promotion “soon”, so stay tuned for more information such as pricing and release dates.
